Join Lilian Horvath, for a captivating one-hour presentation on the History of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).

Drawing from her deep connection to her Mexican roots and culture, Lilian offers an enriching opportunity to explore the origins and evolution of this cherished tradition from Mayan times to the present day.  

Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Muertos) is celebrated on the 1st and 2nd November and reunites the living and dead. Families create ofrendas (Offerings) to honour their departed family members that have passed.

As part of the celebration an altar will be on display upstairs in Creative Space decorated with bright yellow marigold paper flowers, bright paper banners (Papel Picado) and other items in honour of the celebration.
