Red Sands Workshop: Painting the Australian Outback
Join local artist's Nora Hanasy and Jo Williams for a two hour immersive painting workshop, exploring the vibrant hues and rugged beauty of the Australian landscape.
Participants will receive advice on:
- Rule of thirds, composition principles and focal point placements for visual interest.
- Leading Lines and balance, ensuring the elements harmonise without overpowering each other.
- Narrative: You will be encouraged to infuse your paintings with personal stories. What memories or emotions does this landscape evoke? Foster a sense of community. Share stories about the land, its history.
Nora and Jo will share their stories with you, their experiences in Gulf Country.
Art is about expression, and the Australian outback provides endless inspiration. It’s a powerful muse that invites artists to connect with nature and their inner creativity.
