'On a limb' is a solo exhibition of recent works by Redcliffe-based painter, Jamie Congdon. Through his work, Congdon provides an intimate portrait of his life, without embellishment.

Jamie's pieces focus on the locations and scenes from his everyday experiences, and he likes to capture them through drawing, painting, sculpture and animation.

He sees a white canvas as a blank page of a diary where one records their daily activities....Jamie sees his life as unique and believes most artists' lives are....and in his typical irony he refers to artists as those who never really find their place in the world and don't abandon art, as most people do in  their working and family lives.

This exhibition was officially opening on Friday 2 August, 2024.
