Miniaturised Maryborough - Marilyn Murray
This exhibition features miniature artworks focusing on the rich heritage of Maryborough.
The great diversity of buildings in the city lends itself to many artworks including snippets of buildings which often go unseen by the casual passer-by. One example of this is the wonderful key which locks the door to Gallery 3 of Gatakers. Marilyn had been to the gallery many times and until she really looked, had never seen this key.
Marilyn's artpieces measures 10cm x 10 cm. When framed, they measure 24cm x 29cm. Because of their size, they are affordable and portable for travellers who visit the gallery.
