Interwoven - local fibre artists
A showcase of textile works created by participants at workshops recently facilitated by textile artists Anita Johnson and Ursula Stehle.
This exhibition provides the opportunity to view works created at the "2 Day NUNO Felting Workshop with Anita Johnson" and the "Two-Day Beginner and Refresher Weaving Workshop with Ursula Stehle" recently held at Gatakers Artspace and Creative Space as part of the current Hervey Bay Spinners, Weavers and Fibre Artists: Traditional Textiles in the 21st Century exhibition in Gallery 4.
The Hervey Bay Spinners, Weavers and Fibre Artists were successful in receiving a RADF Grant to assist with financial costs for the workshops.
This event is supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between the Queensland Government and Fraser Coast Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland
