Selfsameness is a collaborative art exhibition that brings together the creative talents of the four Maryborough high schools: Aldridge, Maryborough, Riverside, and St. Mary's.

Imaginative three-dimensional artwork and uplifting pieces developed by local high school students celebrating their present selves and their aspirations will be on show.

Students exploried themes of consistency, identity, and staying true to oneself, resulting in a vibrant blend of diverse perspectives and shared experiences about who we are and who we aspire to become.

Selfsameness isn’t just an exhibition; it’s a celebration of who we are and who we aspire to become. It uncovers the common threads that connect us all, while celebrating the unique qualities that make each of us shine.

The curatorial team includes:

  • Shanay Manitzky Aldridge State High School
  • Sarah Griffin Maryborough State High School
  • Nora Hanasy Riverside Christian College
  • Tim Chamberlain St Mary’s Catholic College
